Lots to Share...

Well, the preparations have officially begun for Miss Georgia Catherine's arrival. This past Tuesday, we had our BIG ultrasound where the tech takes all the measurements and officially tells us the sex of the baby. Of course, we were not surprised when she announced, GIRL! We now have proof that she is indeed a girl (three little white lines on the U/S) and things are underway! Here is a picture of GC taken this week:

Now, don't expect any 4D U/S pictures from us. We decided during our pregnancy with Reid that we wanted any and all facial features to be a big surprise, and we are not going to do anything differently with our little girl. We are able to know that GC has 10 fingers and 10 toes from routine U/S's, all organs are present and viable, but we want to see her face for the first time when she comes into this world! You'll just have to wait!!!

I'm so excited to finally have a little pink in my life. GC is the FIRST little girl on Cory's side of the family, and obviously the first in our soon-to-be family of four. Hairbows and Dresses!! YAY!!! This is what she has accumulated only in the last week. These are the clothes that are only newborn-3mo. Not to mention, all the heirloom dresses she has at my mother's house, and all the daygown patterns I've already bought. I've decided to learn to smock, so I'll post some of my creations as soon as I get a chance to start!!

Well, I'm not the only one that is excited about GC's arrival. Her Daddy and Big Brother are also starting to smile a little when we talk about a GIRL. Reid will point to my tummy (or his) and say, "Sissy." I'm not sure if he thinks there is a baby in my tummy or if we are talking about our belly-buttons. It's still up for debate. = ) Reid is definitely a Daddy's boy. He wants Mommy when he doesn't feel good or when he's sleepy, but any other time, he wants "Dada." Last Saturday, the boys woke up before me, and when I came into the living room, this is what I found. I'm sure in the next year, it will be a little boy and a little girl lying on his chest watching cartoons.

You know Everly will be the first girl on the Mack side in generations and generations too. We have that same orange and pink dress with the flowers too! We'll have to take their pictures together. Did they tell you how much she weighs now? We were offered a free 4d yesterday, but we're still not sure. We feel the same as you about knowing what she looks like.
