So much to share!

I again apologize that I haven't updated in a while. Things have been a little crazy around here. Well, "a little" is definitely an understatement! I had to make a trip to the hospital about 3 weeks ago for awful food poisoning. While I was there for a week, Reid started day care. This was a big transition for us, and is just on a temporary basis, (probably through July or August) but Cory and I knew Reid needed some sense of stability throughout the remainder of this unpredictable pregnancy of mine! We're VERY fortunate that he LOVES it. After I get him dressed in the morning, he gets his backpack and waits on his Daddy to take him. I'm thankful that he seems to enjoy "school" because if he cried everyday, I probably wouldn't be able to take him. Plus, the rest I am able to get seems to be helping me a lot. Reid is starting to talk a little bit and we notice little things each day that we're sure he's getting from his friends and teachers at Kid's World.

Last week I had to make another trip to the hospital for preterm labor. I started having contractions Wednesday night, and had to stay until Thursday morning. Fortunately the doctor was able to stop things. My personal goal is to make it at least 2 more weeks. If I can hold her in for that long, I'll be 35 weeks, and my doctor won't transfer me to Montgomery or Birmingham where they have a better equipped NICU...just in case Georgia has any health issues from being premature. I pray that she and I are able to stay together until she is completely ready, but I know that my God is sovereign, and we are fortunate to have made it to 33 weeks!

Now I saved the best news for last. Reid has started sleeping in his "big boy bed." Since our time may be limited, Cory and I knew we needed to get Reid's new room ready so that we could prepare the nursery for Georgia. Last night was Reid's first night, but so far so good! He slept all night and never tried to get down. Granted, I realize that it has only been one night, but Lord willing he'll transition well, so we won't have 2 babies waking up during the night! = ) He also loves to sit in his bed and watch cartoons...here are some pictures his daddy took tonight.
